Synastry goes beyond comparing Sun signs. Use the Moon, Venus and Mars, and Saturn aspects to understand emotional fit, attraction, and long-term relationship patterns.

Synastry overlays two birth charts and examines the aspects between one person's planets and the other's. Connections involving the Moon and Sun, Moon and Moon, or Moon and Venus often show how naturally two people recognize and respond to emotional needs.
Harmonious aspects do not guarantee a conflict-free relationship; they suggest that a response may come more naturally. Challenging aspects are not automatically bad either. They can create strong investment, but usually ask for more awareness and communication.
Second: how Venus and Mars create attraction
Venus describes affection, values, pleasure, and how someone shows interest. Mars relates to action, desire, initiative, and boundaries. Strong aspects between them can create noticeable attraction or friction that keeps both people engaged.
Powerful chemistry is not the whole relationship. If the Moon and Mercury do not connect easily, two people may feel drawn to each other while still misunderstanding feelings or intentions. No single aspect can determine compatibility.
